Toilet Project

The project’s aim is to build toilets in the homes of the underprivileged people who living in slum. people welcomed the idea of individual toilets in their homes. Each family is willing to contribute a small amount for this Programme. This is so that they take ownership of the toilet as their own.

Considering problems related to lack of sanitation facility and dangers of it, Harisankar Foundation came up with the Sanitation Program in areas like Dongaripada, Gorai and Manori villages in Mumbai. People’s involvement was important to make this drive successful, hence HSF staff conducted meeting with the community people, We made people aware about the importance of having sanitation facility in community and then with the help of community people the Sanitation facility has been built and developed in above mentioned Areas.

We have built 62 individual toilets Mumbai, Safale, & Coimbatore.
